Sound 

 

For this project I decided that it would be best to use our own voice recorders as we had difficulties in the preliminary task with using the voice recorders provided. Making this decision I brought a lapel microphone which connects to the IPhones. I did this as it would be easier for both me and Freya to record the dialogue between characters, as well as the actors, we found it easier to hide a phone better in the costumes then the recording devices given to us in the prelim. The microphone connects to the Apple IPhone and makes it easier for the sound to be manipulated in editing as we use Apple Macs to edit.

Overall we really liked the results we got from using the lapel microphones so we are going to record all dialogue on that and order more. We also think this will make editing easier and the overall sound of the project will be better. Me and Briony will each be using a phone to record so that we can have multiple characters recording dialogue at once. This will make it a lot faster to record and will mean everything will be in synch.
